Spearheading his career with Weidmuller since more than 10 years, and actively involved in developing the business across Africa and Middle East region. Heading the Business Development activities of Weidmuller in the filed of Renewables for MEA region.
What motivated Weidmüller to invest in the MENA's solar industry?
Looking at the active role of MESIA in the Renewables sector specifically Solar, and as well the opportunities that MESIA offers for networking with the key personals, motivated Weidmuller to invest with them.
Can you tell us about what sets you apart from other competitors?
Weidmuller is approx. 180-year-old Company originally from Germany. Our long-lasting sustainability and quality set us apart. Weidmuller was there, is there and will always remain there, for its customers.
What's a recent milestone Weidmüller has achieved that you would like to share with us?
At the beginning of November 2022, the Weidmüller Group exceeded the sales mark of € 1 Billion. The company is optimistic about the continuous growth for coming years. In the field of Photovoltaics, Weidmuller has supplied more than 315K Combiner Boxes supporting 180M PV modules, in over 100 countries until 2023.
What are your expectations for the MENA region in terms of growth and new opportunities for Weidmüller?
Looking at the solid projects pipeline and with the positive initiatives being taken from the governments in MENA region in the field of Renewables sector, Weidmuller remains to be positive and is looking forward to utilizing these opportunities with our smart solutions in the field of Solar Photovoltaics.
