MESIA Solar Awards 2022

The Middle East Solar Awards is the industry’s longest standing, premier awards ceremony, now in its Tenth Edition! The solar celebration is revamped this year, featuring new categories, new submissions criteria and evaluations.

This year’s event aims to highlight the transformation of our sector while continuing to celebrate exceptional talent and achievements in the MENA solar market.

 

THE CEREMONY WILL TAKE PLACE January 18th, 2022, during the World Future Energy Submit.

Jury and Selection Process
As always, a panel of independent expert judges in the industry, chosen for their knowledge and impartiality, will select the award winners in each category.

 

Award Categories

  • Utility Project of the Year (Must be located in the MENA region / Financial close in 2021 / Must be gridconnected / Must have National utility as offtaker)
  • C&I Project of the Year (Must be located in the MENA region / Financial close in 2021 / Must be for own consumption of non-residential private offtaker)
  • Hybrid Project of the Year – NEW! (Solar+storage or any other hybrid system / project may be gridconnected or stand-alone in MENA region )
  • Regional Technology Provider: 3 categories -NEW!
    1. Solar Modules
    2. Inverters
    3. Balance of systems (mounting structures, robotic cleaning solutions, performance analytics)
  • CSR Company of the Year (Must be located in the MENA region / Financial close in 2021)
  • Financier of the year (Landing or advisory)/ Consultant of the Year- UPDATED! (Must present one project located in MENA / Advisory service must have taken place between November 2020 and December 2021)
  • Technical Consultant of the Year- NEW! (Must present one project located in MENA / Advisory service must have taken place between November 2020 and December 2021)
  • Legal Consultant of the Year  (Must present one project located in MENA / Advisory service must have taken place between November 2020 and December 2021)
  • Human Capital Regional Development Program of the year- NEW! (Programs  and initiatives must have taken place between November 2020 and December 2021)
  • Solar Woman of the Year- (Must be based in the MENA region)
  • Visual Media of the Year- UPDATED! (Must represent a regional project or initiative)
