Vivian Fang
General Manager – Middle East & Africa
You recently exhibited at the World Future Energy Summit; could you please tell us your primary reasons for being at the exhibition?
WFES has been regarded as one of most important energy summits in middle east to bring together all global major industry leaders to introduce cutting-edge technology and solutions to all stakeholders in the ecosystem.
With accumulation of 10+ GW projects secured in this region, WFES is taken as one good medium to align with all stakeholders about the achievements obtained through the integration of platform resources, and announcement of continuous investments to the local markets to further facilitate our partners to achieve sustainable growth, and
energy transitions according to global market demands.
Were there any particular announcements or exciting meetings that took place during that week that you would like to share with us today?
Yes, there were two significant announcements made by Arctech at WFES.
First, Arctech is committed to increasing investment in R&D to continuously optimize design, helping developers and EPCs achieve lower total plant costs with long-term reliability. This effort will accelerate our penetration into major global markets. Continuous technological innovation has enabled us to introduce the latest single-axis dual-row solution, Skywing, which is highly adaptable to projects with challenging terrain. In 2024, 1.2GW of Skywing installations will be implemented in Uzbekistan.
Second, Arctech Solar will be signing a land lease agreement with Saudi Modon, covering around 97,000㎡ to establish 3GW of in-house manufacturing capabilities. This strategic investment aims to develop local fabrication capabilities in line with rapid market growth. Additionally, it will help our stakeholders achieve better energy yield performance and more favorable financial results through the deployment of our advanced fabrication management and quality control expertise.
Using this platform as a chance to continue connecting with the industry, what would you like to let our network know about your organization?
The journey for Arctech embarked from 2009 and listed in 2020, Arctech group is committed to accompany our partners sustainable growth for longer term with steadfast green vision, not limited to the core business as tracking solution and fix tilt solutions to utility-scale solar systems, but also BIPV, BESS and hydrogen equipment. Enhancement of brand awareness for those seed business is also anticipated through the connection of industry by WFES.
