Open question, is there something you want to add?
What is Trigeneration and how it can help in scaling green energy in the region?
Trigeneration, or combined cooling, heat, and power (CCHP), is an energy-efficient process that simultaneously generates electricity, heating, and cooling from a single fuel source(Natural Gas/ Hydrogen). By maximizing energy utilization and minimizing waste, it significantly reduces carbon emissions and energy costs.
In the MENA region, trigeneration can scale green energy by integrating renewable sources like solar or biogas, enhancing energy efficiency in industries, commercial buildings, and district cooling systems. It supports sustainability goals, reduces reliance on fossil fuels, and complements renewable energy adoption, making it a key solution for achieving energy resilience and reducing the region's carbon footprint.
