Naomi Zhang is the co-founder and CEO of RelyEZ Energy, bringing over 14 years of experience in renewable energy and investment management. She successfully grew RelyEZ into a global leader in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), driving innovation and strategic market expansion. 

With 9 years in wealth management and project valuation, she ensures optimal investment returns through renewable energy assets, especially BESS. 

Her expertise in strategic financial solutions and global financing initiatives positions her as a key figure in accelerating renewable energy adoption and maximizing BESS investment value.

Please describe your role at RelyEZ Energy Storage as well as your industry expertise.

As CEO of RelyEZ Group, I lead the company's global vision and strategy. 

My role encompasses overseeing all aspects of the business, from product development and manufacturing to sales and marketing. 

My decade of experience spans renewable energy project development, investment banking, and technology commercialization. 

This background provides me with a deep understanding of the energy landscape, particularly the growing importance of energy storage in driving the global transition to clean energy. 

I'm passionate about fostering innovation and delivering solutions that address the evolving energy needs of communities worldwide.

What motivated RelyEZ Energy Storage to invest in the MENA's solar industry?

The MENA region presents a compelling opportunity for RelyEZ. 

Abundant solar resources, coupled with ambitious clean energy targets set by regional governments, create a strong foundation for solar energy growth. 

However, solar's intermittency necessitates robust energy storage solutions.

What's a recent milestone RelyEZ Energy Storage has achieved that you would like to share with us?

A significant recent milestone is the launch of our GridUltra 5016, a 5MWh battery system designed for large-scale energy storage applications. This modular, containerized solution enables rapid deployment, reduces costs, offers a long lifespan, and maintains high efficiency. Its successful implementation in large-scale projects across China and international markets has validated its performance and reliability.

In addition, our compact cabinet design, Venture-Pro 250KWh, showcases our commitment to innovation in grid-scale energy storage.

Beyond product innovation, RelyEZ is actively strengthening its regional presence and service capabilities. We are committed to enhancing the regional service level by planning the build-up of regional service centers and exploring local manufacturing opportunities to better serve our customers in the MENA region and beyond.

Moreover, we are strategically expanding our self-supply capabilities to cover all critical components, including Power Conversion Systems (PCS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and cloud platforms. This approach ensures end-to-end control over the quality and performance of our solutions, complementing our system-level innovation, design, and supply capabilities.

What are your expectations for the MENA region in terms of growth and new opportunities for RelyEZ Energy Storage?
