An MBA holder from the University of Cumbria with a focus on energy and sustainability, Marcelle is also passionate about mentoring future industry leaders. His commitment to excellence and vision for growth will solidify Menlo Electric's position as a leader in the energy sector.

Please describe your role at Menlo Electric as well as your industry expertise.


Upon joining Menlo Electric, my objective was to redefine the traditional distribution model. While our aim was to introduce Tier 1 products into the market, we were determined to elevate our approach and provide additional value. At Menlo Electric MENA, we prioritize focused, committed, and loyal partnerships with both our clients and suppliers. Bridging the gap in product understanding among all stakeholders and delivering added value will position us to contribute to the sustainable future in the MENA region.

What motivated Menlo Electric to invest in the MENA's solar industry?


The MENA region's unique characteristics and opportunities, while presenting particular challenges for market entry, also offer a promising landscape for investment and development. With its diverse market conditions, the region demands a tailored approach and a deep understanding of local nuances. Moreover, MENA's position at the cutting edge of development encompasses a range of exceptional projects that serve as pivotal opportunities for companies aiming to make a significant impact and contribute to the region's growth.

Can you tell us about what sets you apart from other competitors?


At Menlo Electric MENA, our approach is centered on strategic partnerships with select suppliers and clients, rather than offering a wide array of brands. We aim to provide added value by offering dedicated support in various aspects of the product lifecycle. This includes comprehensive design assistance, reliable warranty coverage, and efficient on-site troubleshooting. What's a recent milestone Menlo Electric has achieved that you would like to share with us?


In the MENA region, our recent strides include the remarkable accomplishment of attaining Gold Partnership status with Jinko Solar in a mere six months, a testament to our strong collaborative efforts and commitment to excellence. Furthermore, our strategic partnership agreement with Sineng Electric for the MENA region marks another significant milestone, underlining our dedication to forging impactful alliances in the industry. As we look forward to 2024, we are poised to make major announcements that will not only drive excitement but also usher in unprecedented progress for the region, our valued clients, and our esteemed partners.

What are your expectations for the MENA region in terms of growth and new opportunities for Menlo Electric?
