MESIA Solar Awards 2023 Celebrates Innovation and Excellence in the Solar Industry
[Dubai, UAE] September 28, 2023 – For the first time in its history, the much-anticipated MESIA Solar Awards will take place on December 6th at Wane by Somiya Marina Hotel in Dubai,UAE during the COP28 Energy Days. The MESIA Solar Awards 2023, hosted by the Middle East Solar Industry Association (MESIA), is bringing together representatives from governments, businesses, academia, and non-governmental organizations who are actively contributing to the advancement of solar energy adoption and celebrating in recognizing their achievements.
This annual event serves as a platform to acknowledge exceptional accomplishments and initiatives that are driving the region’s transition toward cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions.
This year, MESIA has added an additional 6 new categories to highlight the achievements of companies who have made considerable advancements in the solar industry with 2 new categories to be specifically voted by its members
New Categories:
Utility Scale Award with Specified Categories – will recognize companies that have demonstrated excellence in planning, implementing, and managing large-scale renewable energy initiatives.This year, we have decided to showcase different levels of Utility Scale Solar Projects by the addition of 4 specified awards under this category:
- Utility Scale Project Developer of the Year
- Utility Scale Solar PV Provider of the Year
- Utility Scale Inverter Provider of the Year
- Utility Scale EPC Solution of the Year
Regional Robotic Cleaning Solution of the Year – will recognize outstanding achievements in the development and implementation of innovative, efficient, and sustainable robotic cleaning solutions for solar energy systems.
Awards voted by MESIA Members:
Regional Solar Distributor of the Year – will recognise the overall service and support provided to reseller and vendor partners in that area of the market, taking into account product focus and choice, availability and distribution services, pre- and post-sales support, market development assistance
Lifetime Achievement Award – will recognize individuals who have made extraordinary and lasting contributions to the solar industry in the MENA region. This prestigious award honors professionals who have demonstrated exemplary leadership, innovation, and dedication throughout their career, significantly shaping the growth and development of solar energy.
