Abdullatif Albitawi graduated from Jordan University of Science & Technology, with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. 

Currently he is professional business freelance consultant and trainer based in Dubai, UAE. In his capacity, Abdullatif provides consultation and training in various areas of management such as QHSE, energy, sustainability and operations. 

Abdullatif started his career in the pharmaceuticals industry and then moved to the chemical industry and then to the manufacturing industry. He played key roles in commissioning and starting up process plants and manufacturing facility for companies that he worked for. He has a lot of contributions in process improvement & control, loss prevention and environmental protection, energy management and conservation, quality management, process safety and occupational health and safety management.  

Abdullatif holds MSc in Energy Studies from the University of Sheffield, in the UK in 2000. And was one of the first qualified energy engineers in Jordan. 

He is a member of the Energy Institute and serves as the Secretary General and Hon. Vice Chair of the Middle East branch. He is  also Specialist Fellow of the International Institute of risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) and served in many positions in the institute. Abdullatif has strong interest in OH&S and sustainability.
