Spotlight on Federico Fiorucci, General Manager at Tenka Solar

Please describe your role at Tenka Solar and your expertise in the sector.

I am originally from the province of Milan, the Italian industrial and economic capital, oriented towards innovation and with a strong industrial tradition. In this context, I worked for 25 years in the manufacturing sector for the family business, dealing with the design and production of equipment for the chemical and pharmaceutical markets. I have always focused on the best strategies for business management, with an eye for team coordination.

Although the market is very different, my wealth of experience has allowed me to quickly position myself as a point of reference within the Tenka Solar Dubai structure, which I now manage in the role of General Manager. The prospect of making my contribution to a company like Tenka Solar, which operates on a global scale intending to revolutionize the solar energy sector, won me over, so much so that I decided in a very short time to move my residence and family. The change was very significant, in Dubai I immersed myself in much more frenetic dynamics; the rules of the game have changed and so have the players, but I must say that the Italian savoir-faire has helped a lot.

The exponential growth we are recording is a confirmation of the excellent work that the Tenka team is carrying out with great passion and dedication.

How did your story in solar begin and in your opinion, how much has it changed since then, if at all?

I joined Team Tenka in November 2021, contributing to the launch of Tenka Solar Dubai. The opening to the Middle East arose from the market demand that was clamoring for a reliable manufacturer capable of supplying a supply of panels to the GCC countries. These regions are commonly associated with traditional energy resources, namely oil and gas, but for some years now, we have been witnessing an advance in renewable energy, with the launch of massive government-supported development programs.

In addition, Dubai represents a strategic point of support for Tenka, between the eastern and western production sites, guaranteeing the speed of supply that distinguishes our service.

Can you tell us about your most advanced sector (solution/service) and what sets you apart from other competitors?

Tenka Solar’s offer is based on the customization of the offer, a process that perfectly adheres to the method with which I have always operated in previous professional experiences. Tenka Solar is not only synonymous with a winning price. It is technology oriented toward the most efficient solution.

We have invested heavily in enhanced logistics capabilities capable of offering an impeccable service, a high supply capacity, and flexible payment methods. These are the traits that make Tenka the first solar panel manufacturer in the world.

What’s a recent milestone Tenka Solar has achieved that you would like to share with us?

We have reached an important milestone with the production of the Orion Series IX panels with innovative design features that allow a power output greater than 690W. It is still premature to talk about it, but I can say that we are working to create two important projects that will represent a real big shock wave in the solar panels and green energy market.

What are your expectations for the MENA region in terms of growth and new opportunities for Tenka Solar?

We have very clear ideas: our target point is the distribution of at least 5 GW of power and the expansion on Saudi territory.

In your company’s philosophy, you prioritize customer happiness over mass production, tell us a little bit about your strategy and business model that supports this idea.

Tenka Solar has no customers, we consider them as our “partners”. We remain at your complete disposal, over time, in the most flexible way possible, to respond quickly to requests.

Do you need an extra container? Tenka’s logistics are ready to meet the needs of our customers. Our partners are happy because in every situation we are able to answer, “Yes, we can.”
