JinkoSolar Partners with L&T to Shape a Cleaner and Brighter Future in Saudi Arabia with 1GW Module Supply for the World's Largest Green Hydrogen Plant at NEOM

Jinko Solar is proud to be a key partner by signing a major contract with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) for supply of Solar PV Modules in the visionary NEOM Green Hydrogen Project, the world's largest green hydrogen project currently under construction in Oxagon, Saudi Arabia. This ground breaking initiative represents a significant leap towards a sustainable future, and Jinko Solar is committed to playing a vital role.

This mega-plant, co-owned by industry leaders ACWA Power, NEOM, and Air Products, integrates wind and solar power. By the end of 2026, it aims to produce a remarkable 600 tonnes of carbon-free hydrogen daily, converted into green ammonia - a clean-burning fuel for transportation and industries.

The project directly aligns with Saudi Arabia's ambitious Vision 2030 to lead the global shift towards clean energy. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia exemplifies its commitment in clean energy through pioneering projects like this.

Larsen & Toubro was awarded the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract to construct a 2.2 GWac PV Solar Plant, a 1.65 GW Wind Generation Balance Plant, and a 400 MWh Battery Energy Storage System under the Power Elements package. It will also construct 3 Nos of 380 kV Switching Stations and 306 KM of 380 kV Overhead lines required for the Kingdom's Grid network.

Jinko Solar was honoured to supply 1GWp of its innovative cutting edge high-efficiency Tiger Neo ‘’N-Type TOPCon modules for this ground breaking project. This significantly contributes to the plant's impressive renewable energy capacity.

Through this collaboration, all stakeholders are united in a shared commitment to:

  • Innovation: Pioneering advancements in clean energy solutions like N-Type TOPCon technology to empower a sustainable future.
  • Sustainability: Supporting projects that actively promote environmental responsibility and contribute to global decarbonization efforts.
  • Collaboration: Fostering strong partnerships across the industry, as exemplified by this collaboration between Jinko Solar, NEOM Green Hydrogen Company, ACWA Power, Air Products, and Larsen & Toubro (L&T), the globally recognized EPC contractor.
