Oman Sustainability Week

Oman Sustainability Week is a national platform that aims to highlight Oman’s commitment to sustainability leadership through innovative strategies aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and engage the national development stakeholders to present Oman as a new model for sustainable development. Bringing together key stakeholders – policy makers, sustainability experts and industry leaders – the event comprises the following activities to focus on the core message of sustainability as a national objective.
- Site Visits
Oman Vision 2040 seeks to elevate the Sultanate to the position of advanced nations. The economy and development of Oman is heavily dependent on oil and gas resources accounting for 68% to 85% of Government revenue. Hence, the major role of the energy sector to contribute to the future sustainability and diversity of the economy will be a key highlight of Oman Sustainability Week.
