As the global solar and clean energy community converges in Abu Dhabi for the World Future Energy Summit, the Middle East Solar Industry Association (MESIA) will host the MESIA Solar Awards Ceremony 2026 on January 14, 2026, with a renewed format.. A key moment in the industry calendar, the ceremony continues to honour excellence, innovation, and leadership across the regional solar value chain.This year, the awards introduces new categories, including NetZero Leader of the Year, Sustainability Impact Award, and Startup of the Year.
The MESIA Solar Awards Ceremony 2026 is proudly supported by Jinko Solar, Sungrow, and Nextpower, whose continued support plays a key role in hosting and developing this event.
What’s New in 2026: A Two-Phase Awards Experience
For the first time, the MESIA Solar Awards will take place in a two-phase format, designed to elevate both industry recognition and meaningful engagement.
Phase One: For the first time, the Solar Awards Ceremony at World Future Energy Summit
The official awards presentation will take place on Stage 7, Hall 4 at the World Future Energy Summit—placing industry recognition at the heart of the region’s leading clean energy platform.
Doors open at 17:00, with the Awards Ceremony commencing at 17:15.
Phase Two: Solar Awards Networking Celebration
Following the on-stage ceremony, attendees will be invited to continue the evening at the Solar Awards Networking Celebration, hosted at GLOW, Aloft Hotel, Abu Dhabi, from 18:30 to 20:30. During this second phase, MESIA will announce additional award categories, including the Regional Solar Module Provider, Regional Storage Provider, Regional Inverter Provider, Global Solar Excellence by a Regional Entity, and Utility Scale Solar Project awards.
This second phase offers a dedicated space for high-level networking and celebration experience, focused on industry engagement and connection in a festive environment.
By introducing this new two-phase format, MESIA is redefining the Solar Awards experience, maximising visibility, engagement, and industry connection during the World Future Energy Summit.
